HOW TO START A BUSINESS
Opening a new business or relocating an existing business to the Manor area? Here is a check list of websites to review:
All businesses should review City of Manor rules and regulations prior to beginning business operations. The Planning & Zoning (P&Z) Commission oversees business-oriented issues such as permits, signage and districting. City Council and P&Z meetings alternate meetings on Wednesday evenings.
All businesses should register their business name with the Travis County clerk’s office, especially those individuals or sole proprietors who will be operating as a DBA.
Corporations in Texas must register with the Texas Secretary of State’s office.
