Chamber board members serve three year terms as specified in the organization’s by-laws. On an annual basis, the board appoints a five member panel of directors with the immediate past-president serving an extra year term. New board members are nominated by a combination of board and regular members, with a final vote by all paid members. The new board and directors are announced at an annual meeting.
Board members meet on a monthly basis and conduct business upon meeting a quorum. All board members and directors serve on a voluntary basis and are not compensated. Board members donate their personal and professional resources and time to further economic development and represent the chamber and community on a local, regional, and state level.
