The Chamber was founded in 2003 by an enterprising group of local business owners who had a vision of organizing a group of dedicated and devoted community volunteers to improve the economic environment in eastern Travis County for the betterment of businesses and residents alike.

Manor, Texas is a rapidly growing community with a population of 5,468 based on demographer's estimates from December of 2006. This is markedly up from the 1,204 residents reported in Census 2000.

Manor is located approximately six miles east of Austin on Highway 290, just minutes away from Interstate 35 at the 130 interchange.
